Hyundai Rocks New York Auto Show with New Concept

Hyundai just dropped something big at the New York Auto Show. This year they’re celebrating 40 years in America and decided to do something bold to celebrate.

Earlier today, Hyundai revealed their new body-on-frame Boulder Concept car. They decided to name it after Boulder, CO, as an homage to the adventurous, outdoorsy nature of the area, which they aim to capture in this vehicle. They said this car would be built in America for Americans using American materials.

With this concept, they aim for ultimate freedom- freedom of exploration, of movement, and expression.

The Boulder is ready for off-roading with:

•  Aggressive 37-inch tires

• High Ground Clearance

• Software driven off-road guidance

• Dual-hinge tailgate

• Safari windows

They’re aiming to make the vehicle fully customizable, with a wide variety of accessories available and easy to install and move. The Boulder is Hyundai’s first body-on-frame vehicle and will pave the way for a larger truck expected by 2030.

Hyundai has been in the US for 40 years and plans to be around for many more. They plan to increase their efforts, aiming to release a whopping 36 new or refreshed models to the US market by 2030, with 80% of them being built in the US.

While Hyundai is already one of the top brands in America, they won’t rest on their laurels. They are committed to improving the consumer experience and meeting the needs of today’s drivers, which can be seen through their dedication to US manufacturing and new vehicle design.
